Citizens of Israel Come together to Observe Two Years Since The October 7 Assault by Hamas

This Tuesday, Israelis are set to assemble across the country to mark the two-year mark of the 7 October attack, in which fighters affiliated with Hamas caused the deaths of around 1,200 persons and abducted 251 people through an offensive against Israel's southern areas.

Public Pressure

Some commemoration events have been converted for protests to urge the government to reach a deal to free those detained and conclude the conflict. At a rally in the public space for captives in the metropolitan area on the past Saturday evening, loved ones called for the prime minister accept the suggested framework to end the war in the territory.

Situation in Gaza
