A man previously arrested in relation to the Manchester synagogue violent incident has been taken into custody again at the city's airport.

Two individuals lost their lives when the attacker, thirty-five, carried out a car and knife assault at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on October 2.

Counter Terrorism Policing North West stated the 30-year-old man was originally arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist activities.

Police clarified he was re-arrested at the city airport on suspected failing to disclose information contrary to Section 38B of the Terrorism Act 2000. He has since been released on bail with certain restrictions.

Police stated they "are confident there is any ongoing threat to the public following the event last week."

Six individuals were detained in the aftermath of the incident, with two—a man and a woman—arrested in the following hours and then freed on Sunday night.

The next day, detectives stated they had been granted extra time to interrogate the remaining four, who were also held on "suspected planning, preparation, and instigation of acts of terrorism."

On Wednesday, authorities indicated they too were scheduled for release but emphasized that "did not mean the investigation was finished."

Also on Wednesday, authorities revealed that the suspect placed an emergency call in which he pledged allegiance to the organization calling itself Islamic State.

One victim, 66, and 53-year-old Adrian Daulby died in the attack on a local road in the area.

The victim suffered a bullet injury after armed police officers arrived at the incident and fatally shot the suspect fatally.

A police bullet also struck a different individual, Yoni Finlay, who is recovering in hospital after an operation.
